Interessante Fakten zu PowerBanks / Batterie Banks/ Mobile Ladegeräte und worauf man achten sollte beim Kauf von Powerbanks:

Fazit: Wer BILLIG kauft bekommt auch BILLIG und beschädigt womöglich sein teures iPhone!

Es gibt nämlich Gefahren, die die meisten Leute nicht wissen..

1) Billige Batteriezellen
Billige Batteriezellen kann man nur 200-300 mal Aufladen

Die eingebauten Premium-Batteriezellen (z.B. von Samsung oder LG) halten viel länger und kann man 500 bis zu 1000 mal aufladen.

2) Sicheres Aufladen:

Nur sehr wenige Modelle haben einen SmartChip mit Mehrfachschutz der sich automatisch anpasst an die angeschlossenen Geräte. Hier würde ich darauf achten, dass die folgenden 5 Stromschutzfunktionen vorhanden sind:
1.Überstromschutz, 2. Überspannungsschutz, 3. Überhitzungsschutz, 4. Überlastungsschutz und

5. Kurzschlussschutz

3) Schnelles Aufladen:

Nur wenige Modelle haben 2.1 Ampere Output, die meisten nur 1 Ampere. Das dauert 3 mal länger um sein Handy, iPad etc. aufzuladen.

Auch wichtig, wie hoch ist der Input – wie lange dauert es seine BatteryBank aufzuladen. 2 Amp Input wäre schon ratsam. Hier gilt je mehr Amp desto schneller geht es.

4) Eigenständiges Entladen

Qualitativ gute PowerBanks entladen sich bei Nichtbenutzung nur sehr langsam und halten mindestens 6 Monate. Falls sich die BilligVersion total entlädt, kann es sein, dass man sie danach wegschmeißen muss.

5) Gebrauch im Flugzeug:

Es gibt nur sehr wenige PowerBanks, die eine Flugzeugzulassung haben.

In Asien und den USA z.B. kann man PowerBanks nicht über 10.0000 mAh mit ins Handgepäck nehmen. Der Grund, sie zählen offiziell als BOMBE!

6) Apropos Billig…

Vor kurzen ist noch so eine billige PowerBank einer Dame in der Hand explodiert und Ihr Teppich fing auch an zu brennen.

8) Effizienz:

Die billigen PowerBanks haben eine Effizienzrate zwischen 35-50%. Der Rest ist Stromverlust beim Laden und Gebrauch. Die gute Qualität beginnt bei 80-90%.

9) Garantie und Umwelt

Die meisten Hersteller geben nur 6-12 Monate Garantie auf die Batterie. Damit kauft man ein Gerät mit kurzer Lebensdauer und hat auch kein Recht auf Umtausch nach 12 Monaten. Damit trägt man auch nicht gerade zum Umweltschutz bei…

Amsterdam/Hanover March 2010, – Anyone who has travelled with a laptop, mobile phone, MP3 player, digital camera, GPS receiver and mobile games console knows how much trouble it is to transport all the different power adaptors. If you don’t want to be left at the mercy of your battery charge while in the car or plane, you need the relevant DC adaptor in your luggage. And then there’s the issue that only one of your devices can be plugged in to charge. There are simply no sockets within reach for the others …

Innergie, a company specialising in efficient power supplies for consumer products, has now developed a real plug-and-play solution to this cable tangle – a “carefree adaptor”, so to speak, which automatically adjusts to the energy requirements of mobile electronic devices.

At CeBIT in Hanover, Innergie will present five different universal adaptors, suitable for individual needs. As small as a car key, the mCube Mini is a real highlight. As the smallest (60 x 26 x 18 mm) universal power adaptor in the world, it weighs just 70 grams. This adaptor is intended to charge medium-sized laptops with a screen size of up to 17 inches and a maximum power input of 75 watts from the on-board power supply in cars or planes, where DC voltage between 12 and 15 volts is available. A built-in transformer converts the voltage from the on-board supply to the usual laptop voltage of 16 or 19.5 volts – with a remarkable 96 percent efficiency. It was awarded the 2010 iF Award for its design.

The mCube Pro is THE universal adaptor. With a peak output of 90 watts, it can charge not only smartphones but also laptops with a screen size of up to 17 inches. The mCube Pro also has a USB connection for fast charging. This allows any devices to be charged which draw power from a PC or Mac by USB. In addition, a detachable DC adaptor for 12 to 15 volts is available, which – in a car or plane for instance – can be increased to the typical laptop level of 16 or 19.5 volts. The mCube Pro measures 129 x 70 x 24 mm and weighs just 199 grams. It was also awarded the renowned iF Award and the CES innovation prize. It also meets the high requirements of the “Energy Star”; with an efficiency rate of more than 90 percent, it far outdistances standard commercial adaptors which generally operate at less than 80 percent efficiency.

According to the manufacturer, users of any Innergie devices don’t need to worry about compatibility, output or polarity. For the most popular laptops, plug adaptors are available for delivery. Special plug information is available for free through the Innergie homepage or resellers’ service teams. All power adaptors have an efficiency rating of between 90 and 96 percent under all operating conditions, and thus exceed the targets of the “Energy Star” hallmark, which stands for particular economy in energy consumption. If the power output limit is exceeded, or if the user accidentally causes a short circuit, Innergie power adaptors automatically cut out. There are a total of five different safety mechanisms in the universal adaptors. Along with short circuit and overload resistance, the adaptors’ absorption of high currents and voltages is impressive, as are their thermo-sensors which automatically cap the energy input if the temperature becomes too high.
